Meet the Chef

Ryan Immel lives in Orrville, where he heads up the Service Department for the City. His greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife Katie, their grown children and their families. ​Ryan bought a smoker in 2021 at a benefit auction. In the years since, he has grown passionate about perfecting the art of smoking delicious meals. In 2024, it became clear that God was calling Ryan to use this gift and passion in a new way, and so with the support of friends and family, he launched Patio 114 Barbeque.

Behind the Name

Patios are a place of friendship, laughter, making memories and of course, where delicious food is smoked! The number 114 comes from the gospel of John chapter 1, verse 14 in which John says of Jesus: We have seen His glory. We agree with John! Because we have seen the glory of Jesus, it is our desire first and foremost to reflect His glory by loving and serving His people well!
